Train for a career in construction engineering, environmental protection and geomatics technologies.
Civil Engineering Technology is a cluster of diploma programs that prepare students for an exciting career as an engineering technologist. The programs have a common first year of training.
After completion of the first-year courses, students apply and develop these competencies during a six-month co-operative education work term.
Upon successfully completing the first common year, students choose a program to pursue in the second year. Entry into the second year of programs will be based on first year Grade Point Average (GPA) and prerequisites.
In the second and third years, you’ll take more advanced courses and build on the competencies you gained in first year. You may choose from the following programs:
- Architectural/Engineering Technology
- Environmental Engineering Technology
- Geomatics Technology
- Municipal Engineering Technology
- Structural Engineering Technology
