The Introduction to Engineering Technology program builds the foundational knowledge and skills needed to succeed in advanced engineering technology studies. It is designed as a direct pathway into RRC Polytech’s Engineering Technology programs.

This program is ideal for students who are interested in engineering technology but do not meet the standard entrance requirements – particularly in mathematics and physics. By successfully completing this program, you can gain admission into your chosen Engineering Technology program through a recognized alternate entry route.

Throughout the program, you will strengthen your academic readiness through mathematics, physics, computing and technical problem-solving. You’ll also build essential study skills and gain exposure to engineering technology concepts that can help inform your future specialization.
