How To Apply
Full-time Program Online Application
Before applying, ensure you have reviewed your program’s admission requirements and confirmed you can meet the requirements and related deadlines.
Online applications are the quickest and easiest way to apply, plus they get processed much faster than paper applications. You’ll start your online application by creating an account with Red River College that will allow you to:
- Work on your application over several sessions
- Provide information about your academic history
- Upload required documents (for specific programs) and check the status of them
- Update your personal information
- Request information about RRC services
- View your final application
You’ll require a major credit card to pay the application fee through a secure server, which keeps your information confidential. Visa credit cards are accepted, but we currently do not accept Visa debit cards or pre-paid credit cards.
Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll need to provide your required documentation within the next 30 days (unless otherwise noted in your program’s admission requirements). If your program has a waitlist, your waitlist date will be your application date.
Paper applications may be submitted, however we encourage you to submit an online application.
Submission of a paper application will delay the processing of your application which could affect your place on a waitlist.
Additionally, without an online account you will not be able to electronically upload required documents or check the submission status of your documents. You will also not be able to update your personal information (e-mail or home address, phone number, etc) outside of regular College business hours.
If you don’t have internet access, you can use a computer in one of the RRC libraries at either the Notre Dame Campus or Exchange District Campus, or any branch of the Winnipeg Public Library. If you live outside Winnipeg, the local public library in your area should have internet access. High schools also have computers available for students to use.

International Student Application
You must pay your non-refundable/non-transferable deposit by the due date to hold your seat in your program. Failing to pay your deposit will cause your application to be cancelled.
You’ll be registered into classes approximately one month prior to the term start date and your program/student fee details, online payment options, and timetable will be available through WebAdvisor (accessible via RRC HUB).
