Structural Engineering Technology

Raise up the world around you and help build structures that will stand the test of time.

Start a rewarding career and become part of the extraordinary structures that surround us. Learn the skills and knowledge you need to help plan, build and ensure the safety of the bridges we cross, the buildings that define our skyline and the places we call home.

Structural Engineering Technology is a specialization program. Students interested in this program must apply to and complete the first common year of the Civil Engineering Technology program.

Learn to work in teams to design, plan and build the buildings and infrastructure that make up our world. Through the Structural Engineering Technology program, you will develop the technical and practical skills you need for a successful career in consulting, contracting, designing, fabrication or project management, whether you’re working in Manitoba or abroad.

As part of your RRC Polytech education, you will gain industry experience through two co-op work experiences. These co-op opportunities will help you build relevant work experience, integrate experiential learning and create connections with industry partners and employers.
