RRC Polytech’s Adult Learning Centre (ALC) in Winkler provides a supportive space for mature learners seeking to complete high school credits, upgrade their skills or prepare for post-secondary, with a focus on education that is accessible and achievable for everyone in the Pembina Valley.

The Centre for Newcomer Integration (CNI) helps over 2,500 students each year improve their English language skills through educational and cultural activities — in classrooms and computer labs, online, in the community or in the workplace.
With many local industries welcoming foreign workers and hiring immigrants and refugees new to Canada, CNI’s tailored language programs provide newcomers with the skills to succeed in the workforce, which are vital to community and economic development.

Consisting of micro-credentials, seminars and workshops, and customized training, RRC Polytech’s Micro-training allows specific, timely skills to be acquired quickly – often in a few days or weeks. Focused primarily on upskilling, Micro-training offers the best of both worlds: gaining the most up-to-date skills and putting them to use right away.

RRC Polytech’s Mobile Training Labs (MTLs) deliver nationally-recognized training from industry-experienced instructors in state-of-the-art mobile trailers that bring the classroom virtually anywhere, including remote communities. Common fields of training include automotive, carpentry, electrical, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, welding and industrial mechanics.
