Interaction Design and Development

In Digital Media Design’s Interaction Design and Development program, you’ll learn to create design-driven, responsive websites, apps, and user interfaces. Web design and development is one of the most sought after skill sets right now.

In this program, you’ll learn how to design and build a website from scratch using a variety of industry standard tools and languages. You’ll also learn how to build websites using WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system.

Offered at the Roblin Centre at the Exchange District Campus.

There is a real shortage of people in the industry with great design skills and great technical skills. Our goal is to teach you both.

We’re training you to be front-end designers and developers. We’re also train you to be skilled in UI (user interface) and UX (user experience). Working in UI/UX means you’ll help make the decisions to make the app or website or game as intuitive and easy to use as possible for all users. UI/UX is one of the fastest growing fields in the interactive industry.

Students must first complete the one-year DMD certificate program, or equivalent, before entering this program.
