Ace Burpee to MC April 5 Event

Back by popular demand, we are delighted to announce that Ace Burpee will emcee the keynote luncheon at Applied Research & Innovation Day on April 5 at Red River College!
Ace Burpee has worked in radio for over a decade in almost every capacity, and is well known for the hundreds of charitable events and causes that he donates his time to every year.
He is currently the host of The Ace Burpee Show on 103.1 Virgin Radio.
Ace is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his service to our community, he is the recipient of a Hero of Mental Health Award from the Canadian Mental Health Association, he has received a Volunteer Manitoba Award for Outstanding Community Leadership, was recognized as Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Manitoba and also named a Manitoba Hero. He is proudly from Cooks Creek Manitoba.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
