The deadline for volunteers is Thursday, March 15.
We are seeking volunteers for the following tasks:

  • Greeters
  • Registration Table
  • Coat Check
  • Directional People
  • Apple Cart
  • Computer Monitor Check In/Out
  • Rovers
  • Luncheon Presentation Timer
  • Shuttle Drivers*

*Shuttle drivers must have valid driver’s license and need to start at 6:45 a.m.

What is the event about?
Dozens of industry leaders, students, instructors and researchers will be gathering at Red River College’s second-annual Applied Research and Innovation Day on April 5 to celebrate student applied research and research partnerships.
The day will feature keynote speaker Paul Soubry, President & CEO of New Flyer along with Jeff Reisner, President of North Forge, journalist Richard Cloutier, and Tracey Maconachie, President of the Life Science Association of Manitoba. The event will include a student research showcase, tours of cutting-edge research facilities, a networking luncheon and forums on pressing topics of the day.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
