Dragonfly Den 2017
3rd Annual Social Innovation & Applied Business Research Competition
Wednesday, December 6, 2017
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Room A104, 160 Princess St., Red River College
This year we will feature the first ever Dragonfly Den, featuring the best, the most socially innovative business ideas created by RRC business students over the past two years.
Young entrepreneurs will present their socially innovative JUGAAD inspired business ideas (providing solutions to social problems by starting with only a $500 budget) to a panel of judges who will ask questions, provide feedback and advice, and select a winner.
The official competition will be followed by a SI & ABR student project showcase. Over the last three years, over 500 RRC students have worked on projects aimed at identifying and supporting the most innovative and socially responsive SMEs from Winnipeg and the rest of the planet.
During this showcase you will have a chance to learn about and participate in the project, interact with the top performing students, and share your thoughts with our guests from both the public and private sectors.
Watch this TedX talk with Tatjana Brkic to learn about this project.

The SI & ABR projects would not be possible without cooperation and support we receive from partners like you and we would be honoured if you could come to our final event.
