September 26, Free bilingual workshop on: What is intellectual property (IP)

September 19, 2017

What is a patent? What’s the value of a trade-mark? How to protect a new design? Or a new piece of art? These are questions that, as an entrepreneur, or as a business development agent you have probably faced.

We are pleased to invite you to a presentation on the Foundations of IP, delivered by a Business Development Officer from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), where you will learn about the various types of IP rights, and how IP has a strong strategic value for a business.

Note that this is a first wave of presentations, more to come in the near future! You may register directly by clicking on the link below:

Winnipeg, September 27 (Bilingual)

Also note that CIPO’s representative will be available for individual meetings in Winnipeg on the 28th (please contact her directly at caroline.lefebvre@canada.ca).

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
