We invite the graphic design industry to our annual showcase of graduating student work

Shayne is a Montréal-born graphic design student and artist. He is a student in the graphic design program at UQÀM (Université du Québec à Montréal), set to graduate in 2014. In early 2012, coinciding with the Québec student strike, he and twelve other students founded the École de la Montagne Rouge, a student-run graphic design school. He has participated in exhibitions at Concordia University in Montreal and the Interference Archive in New-York City.

2013 portfolio requirements
Now that the deadline has passed for Fall 2013 admission the portfolio requirements have been removed.
The 2014 requirements will be available for download in December 2013.

Recent grad Carl Shura won the Applied Arts Magazine student packaging award. Carl’s work was on display October 31-November 1 at the Applied Arts Design Expo last week in Toronto.

On Friday, politicians from all three levels of government gathered on the south side of the Millennium Library to celebrate the $4.3-million reconstruction of a public space once deemed a dangerous and dingy corner of downtown, owing to the absence of sidewalks and high fences that cut it off from Donald and Smith streets.

After 38 years Ross Sundmark is retiring. The Graphic Design Program is losing a great resource and friend.
There will be a friends and industry event Thursday June 14, 5 pm at the King’s Head. Come out and share your stories.
