Connect staff email to your mobile device

If you have previously signed an Active Sync form or agreed to its terms through a Maestro process, and you wish to sync your device to the staff email system, refer to either the Connect to Staff email using Outlook or Connect to Staff email using your device’s default mail app sections.

Active Synchronization securely provides access to emails, calendars, tasks and contacts from the College’s staff email system on your mobile device. The Active Sync agreement confirms you acknowledge and understand the level of access IT Solutions requires to manage your device and the procedures to clear data from the compromised mobile device.

NOTE: You are not obligated to forward your College email to your device. You can access staff email through HUB, then open the Log on to staff email web page for instructions.

To sync your staff email with your mobile device, follow these steps:

  1. Log on to HUB.
  2. On the Launchpad widget, click the chevron (˅) icon at the top-right side of the Processes section.
  3. Click the Resource Request – Active Sync – Enable Mobile Device Maestro process link.
  4. Complete the required fields, and confirm that you agree to the terms of the Active Sync agreement.
  5. Click Start to receive a notification when your request is complete.
  6. Refer to the Connect to Staff email using Outlook or Connect to Staff email using your device’s default mail app section for instructions on connecting staff email to your mobile device.
