Microsoft Office 365 Installation

All RRC Polytech students have access to Office 365 and can choose to access them online or download the applications to their computer.

The Microsoft suite of products includes: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and OneNote.

How to Install Office 365

  1. Go to www.rrc.ca and select LOG IN in the top right corner of the webpage (red circle in image below).
  1. At the Login to HUB page enter your college username or email address and select: Next. Note: Your username is the first part of your email address: username@academic.rrc.ca.
  2. At the RRC Polytech Sign in page enter your college email address and password and select: Sign In.
  3. On the RRC Polytech HUB page, under Applications select: Office 365.
  1. Microsoft 365 Copilot will open. Navigate to the “Apps” option on the lefthand menu.
  1. On the Apps page, click on the Install apps in the top right-hand corner. A drop down menu will appear, then choose Microsoft 365 apps.
  1. From My account choose Install Office to begin the download.
  1. Navigate to your downloads folder and double-click the Microsoft Office package to begin installation.

How to Use Office 365 Online

From the Microsoft 365 Copilot landing page click on any of the application icons to create a document. You may be prompted to login to your Microsoft account. Once you are logged in, the document you create will open. All documents created with Office 365 online are saved to your OneDrive storage and can also be downloaded to your laptop.

Or access Office 365 Online through navigating to the apps section on the lefthand side in Outlook online.
