Goal

The goal of this blog post series was simple: to show how with Read&Write, reading doesn’t have to be exhausting, frustrating or overwhelming.

Across the series, we focused on why Read&Write matters. At its core, Read&Write helps remove barriers so you can spend more energy understanding content, not on being frustrated by content! Whether you learn best by listening, need help staying focused on busy screens, or want support with unfamiliar vocabulary, Read&Write offers options that adapt to your needs.

Why Read&Write?

The answer to “why Read&Write” is also simple: it’s free for all RRC Polytech students and staff.

What makes Read&Write especially powerful is choice and flexibility. Supporting different learning styles, (aiming to) reduce eye strain and cognitive overload, and encouraging active reading instead of passive. Over time, these small supports can add up to better focus, stronger comprehension, and more confidence as a reader.

Most importantly, Read&Write isn’t just for students who are “struggling” or need help. It’s a productivity and learning tool that benefits everyone.
