Energy Advisor – Manitoba Métis Federation Citizens

Metis Employment & Training is working with RRC Polytech to provide customized delivery of the Energy Advisor Micro-Credentials to Métis Federation Citizens.

Beginning in March 2023, the 36-week instructor led; part-time, blended program combines virtual & in person training. Energy Advisor students develop building science expertise, in combination with energy modelling software, to help building professionals, homeowners, and those considering a house purchase, to make better informed decisions on choosing energy-saving upgrades and retrofits.

With the Government of Canada’s Greener Homes Initiative providing free EnerGuide energy audits for 1 million homes in Canada, registered EAs are needed. This initiative, combined with a shortage of EAs across Canada, provides the opportunity for immediate employment in an in-demand and rewarding field.

The specialized skills training provided by RRC Polytech’s in-house subject matter experts and dynamic applied research facilities provide the knowledge required to pass the NRCan examination and earn your certification.
