It’s common to experience a variety of thoughts and feelings while pursuing post-secondary education at an institution like Red River College Polytechnic. Perhaps you’re feeling excited about the knowledge and skills you’ll attain, or the career paths that will be made possible by your training. You may be feeling anxious about the future — or worried about the unknown.

At Red River College Polytechnic, we understand you have a lot on your plate, and recognize there are external factors that can affect your academic progress. We want you to know you’re important to us – as such, the College offers an array of supports to help you manage your personal life, as well as your academic life.

In addition, the College’s Student Counselling Services staff would be happy to meet with you and assist in a private, confidential setting. RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
