Co-operative education plays an integral role in Red River College Polytechnic’s mission of providing high-quality educational training opportunities.
RRC Polytech’s Business Administration co-op program supports your business with student talent in the following specialties:
Add staffing to support your day-to-day operations. Add an intern to your HR team to support your HR administrative processes, assist with recruitment, and organize training, onboarding and human resources communications.
Expose your team and organization to new ideas, creative thinking and project support. Marketing interns can conduct market research, support communications, and develop a digital marketing strategy for your business. In addition, they can help support putting together a social media strategy, or CRM, in place to attract and engage with new and existing customers.
Business Administration interns can help build your pipeline of talent and potential future hires. Hiring an accounting intern can help your business with tax season or take on tasks within AR and AP. Student interns can also support financial reporting and analysis.
Finding skilled labour continues to be a challenge. Many businesses invest in interns as a critical component of talent recruitment and development processes. Our Financial Services major provides pathways to both investment securities and insurance industries.
Interns can support banking, wealth management and insurance operations.
Get support for a specific project or challenge your organization is facing. Logistics and Supply Chain Management interns can support with purchasing, procurement and supply management, logistics processes, operations, and supply chain strategy.
Many businesses in Manitoba hire students on an ongoing basis to support future-forecast and staffing needs. The General Studies major provides students with an opportunity to chart their own path. Interns come prepared with work-ready business training, and technical and soft skills. They’re ready to support your staffing, operational, project and client needs.
Is there a project, opportunity or client issue that you want to tackle, but don’t have the time or capacity? Business Administration students are keen to apply their learning to tackle those projects and problems you are facing.
In this course, students work in groups or individually with companies to execute and deliver projects based on the specifications of the client.
This new course provides an opportunity to tackle environmental, social or governance challenges your business is facing and to connect with a student who will design a project that addresses the problem.
Consider bringing a student intern onboard to your organization to help your business grow.
