About GoodLocal

Co-founded by Winnipeg entrepreneur Obby Khan in response to COVID-19, GoodLocal connects local artisans with shoppers in a one-stop online marketplace. GoodLocal was a godsend for many this year, allowing sellers (including RRC alumni-owned businesses) to pivot to e-commerce and get their product in front of thousands of shoppers amid lockdowns, and allowing buyers to support their favourite local makers in the absence of markets and in-store shopping.

From handcrafted jewellery to artisan gifts, plus gourmet foods and craft brews, GoodLocal has something for everyone. Browse the marketplace and support local!

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
