Assistive Technology and Alternate Format Materials

Use of Assistive Technology (AT) and Alternate Format Materials (AFM) are available to provide access and additional opportunities for students to be able to engage with their coursework. Some AT is available for all students to use, other or additional AT may be available to students with documented disabilities.

Students with documented disabilities are encouraged to book an appointment with an Accessibility Specialist. Students eligible for AT or AFM accommodations will be referred to the Assistive Technologist for training and support.

Students are encouraged to contact Student Accessibility Services at the time of application to allow for materials/tech arrangements/training to be made prior to the start of their program. Depending on when the student is referred and the supports required, there is no guarantee that all materials will be in place prior to the start of classes.
