Assistive Technology / Alternate Format Material

The use of assistive technology and alternate format material are academic accommodations provided to students with documented disabilities, in order to provide equal opportunity for students to master the essentials of post-secondary programming.

Students should contact Accessibility Services to determine eligibility for assistive technology and alternate format services. Once eligibility is determined, students are referred to Exam Accommodations and Assistive Technology staff who develop an individualized assistive technology and/or alternate format plan for each student.

Students are encouraged to contact Accessibility Services at the time of application to allow for materials and/or technology arrangements to be made prior to the start of a student’s chosen academic program.
