Digital File Organization
Are you in need of a way to organize all of your files and folders? Well, this blog post has you covered!
Step 1 – Create a Master Folder
Make a folder and label it “school” or “program name”.
Step 2 – Create Subfolders
Create subfolders.
For example: subfolders for each course, each term, or each level.
Note: if you create subfolders by term or level, you’ll want to create another level of subfolders for each course or section.
Tips
- Use clear file names
- A good example would be “Math Assignment #1”
- A not-so good example would be “Assignment1Doc”
- Save your work!
- Revisit an old blog post on AutoSaving Microsoft Documents
