Student Accessibility Services is proud to launch our new Tech Tips blog!

The goal: encourage the use of technology to make your academic life easier!!

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Are you an auditory learner and would rather listen to text than read text?
  • Do you want tips on how to reduce eye strain from computer use?
  • Do you find yourself having trouble staying on top of due dates, assignments, and coursework?
  • Are you a multi-tasker looking for ways to work on your courses while getting chores done around the house (or getting out and enjoying nature)?
  • Do you need help taking notes? Studying? Thought organization? Task/time management?
  • Do you want to have different options and mix things up?!
  • Are you willing to give tech a chance and see how it can support you?!

Then stay tuned for upcoming posts! We’ll highlight features of programs you already have, are available to you as an RRC Polytech student, or are available for FREE!

Notices will be posted in Student and Staff news when new blog posts are added… We all learn differently, so why can’t we all use tech differently?!

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
