LEARN – News Tool in LEARN
The news tool in LEARN is a great way to communicate messages to your students as it appears on the front page of the course.
To create a News Post:
- Access your course
- Click the dropdown beside “News”
- Click “New News Item”
- When authoring the news post you will have access to many formatting options. Hover over the individual icons to see what they do
- Once you have composed your News post scroll down to see additional options
- Set Start and End dates
- Attach files to the post
- Use release conditions if you wish to restrict access
- Click “Publish” when it’s ready to post
To edit or remove a News Post:
- Access your course
- Click the dropdown beside the news item you wish to edit
- Click “Edit” or “Delete”
