Red Goes ‘Reel Green’

The RRC Sustainability Office is sponsoring a table at Reel Green 2017 on March 16 and we want to bring you! Enter to win pair of tickets to this popular event by:

You will receive one entry for each of the above actions completed before midnight on Monday, March 13, 2017 (so you can enter up to 4 times). Prize draw will occur and winners will be notified on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Reel Green is Manitoba Eco-Network’s annual fundraising gala. This year’s event will be hosted by CBC’s Terry MacLeod and will feature a series of inspiring short films celebrating our natural environment and those working to protect it as well as the awarding of the prestigious annual Anne Lindsey Protecting Our Earth Awards. In addition, there will be some fun eco-themed prizes and auctions and a green carpet where everyone can show off their “second hand glamour”.

Tickets: $50 in advance, $60 at the door (all tickets include a $25 tax receipt)

Proceeds support environmental education and action on climate change, water conservation, youth leadership, organic lawn care and more.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
