What to do When You Arrive

FALL 2019

Move-In Day: Thursday, August 22nd 2019.

New and Returning Residents report to Residence staff at the main entrance (504 Main Street) to move in.

If you are under the age of 18 you will need to bring a legal guardian with you.

Returning Residents: please bring your existing Student/Residence ID card to be reactivated.

Check in between 9:30am-3:30pm

Once at the Residence, our team will help you with the following:

  • Pick up your Residence key, mailbox key, and laundry card
  • Sign your Residence contract
  • Pick up your student card (if you have pre-ordered it)

**Please note: If you are arriving at the Residence between 3:30pm on August 22nd and 9:00am August 23rd, you will be checked in to your room by Security. You will need to complete your move-in and pick up all keys from the Campus Living Office (room 400) on Friday, August 23rd between 9:00am-2:00pm, prior to Orientation.**If you are not able to move in on August 22nd, you must notify the Campus Living Office.

Residence Orientation: Friday, August 23rd 2019.

Residence Orientation is mandatory for all Fall term Residents. Orientation will take plan on Friday, August 23rd from 3:00-4:30pm in the Annex (main floor of the Residence).

Stick around after Orientation to enjoy a free pizza dinner, and socialize with your new neighbors!

New Residents should report to the Security desk at the main Residence entrance (504 Main Street) and will be checked into their suite by the Resident Assistant on duty.

Request your Move-In Date.

On your Residence Application in the comments section add your requested move-in date. All requests will be accommodated based on availability. Once your application has been processed you can refer to your room offer email to find your approved move in date.

Airport Pickup

International students should contact International Education for information regarding airport pickups.


Free Parking on August 22nd will be available in Impark Lot 212. Refer to your move-in information email for more details.

Early Move-ins

RRC International Students may request to move into Residence up to two weeks in advance of their program, and will be accommodated based on availability. Please contact the Campus Living Office for more details.

Late Arrivals

If you are unable to move in on your designated move-in day, please notify the Campus Living Office as soon as possible. Please note Security is available to assist you 24/7. If you arrive at the Residence between midnight -6:00am you will be granted access to your suite and officially checked-in the next day.
