Authorized Nurse Prescriber – Reproductive Health/STBBI

Registered nurses (RN) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN) can build advanced prescribing competencies and apply them in reproductive health and sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection (STBBI) care. As RN/RPN authorized -rescriber (AP) professionals, you’ll combine clinical knowledge, sound judgment and compassionate care to support patients through critical and often sensitive areas of health care.
This post-graduate certificate in Authorized Nurse Prescribing prepares you for an expanded scope of practice to meet the evolving needs of health care in Manitoba. You’ll develop practical, experiential skills through flexible learning opportunities and apply them in appropriate clinical settings.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to pursue the Authorized Prescriber designation through either the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
