Registered nurses (RN) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN) can build advanced prescribing competencies and apply them in diabetes health. As RN/RPN authorized prescriber (AP) professionals, you’ll combine clinical knowledge, sound judgment and compassionate care to make a meaningful impact in patient outcomes and community well-being.
This post-graduate certificate in Authorized Nurse Prescribing prepares you for an expanded scope of practice to meet the evolving demands of health care in Manitoba. You’ll develop practical, experiential skills and apply them in appropriate clinical settings.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to pursue the Authorized Prescriber designation through either the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
