Registered nurses (RN) can build advanced prescribing competencies and apply them in Travel Health. As RN authorized prescriber (AP) professionals, you’ll combine clinical knowledge, sound judgment and patient-centred care to support individuals preparing for travel and navigating travel-related health risks.
This post-graduate certificate in Authorized Nurse Prescribing prepares you for an expanded scope of practice to meet evolving health-care needs in Manitoba and beyond. You’ll develop practical, experiential skills through flexible learning opportunities and apply them in appropriate clinical settings.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to pursue the Authorized Prescriber designation through the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
