Reflection Rooms

The Reflection Rooms at RRC Polytech provide quiet, non-denominational spaces for personal or spiritual reflection, prayer, meditation, or contemplation.

These spaces are open to individuals of all religions, faiths, and spiritual practices, offering a peaceful retreat from the busy campus. Using such spaces supports a healthy mind and body.

Locations

  • Notre Dame Campus – Room A233
  • Exchange District Campus – Room P213

Hours

  • 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday – Friday

Note: The Reflection Rooms must not be used for any group activities, meetings, social gatherings, or events. For students wishing to work on their laptops or engage in other academic activities, we recommend using the library or self-study rooms instead.

Guidelines

To ensure the space remains conducive to its intended purpose, everyone is expected to follow these guidelines:

  • Respectful Behaviour: Be mindful of others who may be in the room for reflection, meditation, or prayer. Silence is essential to maintain a peaceful environment.
  • Appropriate Use: Group activities, phone calls, eating, drinking, or sleeping are not allowed in these spaces.
  • Cleanliness: Leave the room tidy and take any personal items with you when you leave.
  • Scent-Free: The use of incense, sage, or similar materials is prohibited.
  • Room Integrity: If you move anything in the room, please return it to its original place.

By following these guidelines, we ensure that the Reflection Rooms remain a place for personal peace and reflection for all members of the RRC Polytech community.

Thank you for your cooperation and respect for these policies.

If you have any questions about the Reflection Rooms, please contact iesupport@rrc.ca.

For access after hours, students can contact Security Services at either of the locations and security will open up the space.
