Career Fair – Bayshore Home Health – June 25

Are you a compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference and want to leave your shifts knowing you made a positive impact in someone’s life?

If so, then Bayshore Home Health invites you to their upcoming career fair.  Positions being recruited for include personal caregivers, certified health care aides and licensed practical nurses.

  • Date: June 25, 2022
  • Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Location: Bayshore Home Health Office at 396 Edison Avenue

Applicants should be prepared for an interview and are asked to bring the following documents with them:

  • Two pieces of government-issued ID
  • Resume
  • Current Adult and Child abuse registry checks
  • Current Criminal Record Check
  • 2 management references
  • Proof of a negative Tuberculosis screening
  • Proof of COVID vaccination

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is hiring graduates!

Are you looking for a career that will provide excellent opportunities for growth and a great work-life balance? If so, consider a career with Canada Revenue Agency!

The CRA is currently recruiting students who have graduated, or will be graduating, from a recognized post-secondary institution between December 1, 2018, and June 30, 2022.

The posting, which is available on Job Central, will be used to staff various audit positions in the Western Region (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia).

The application deadline is June 19, 2022.

RRC Polytech’s Student Employment Services (SES), in collaboration with the Centre for International Education and Global Partnerships (CIEGP), Academic Success Centre (ASC), and the School of Indigenous Education (SIE), is hosting the 3rd virtual Employment Readiness Conference (ERC)!

After the challenges of the last few years, this year’s conference theme, Back to YOUR Future, will focus on the possibilities ahead for RRC Polytech’s students and alumni.

A highlight of this year’s event is Lisa Taylor, who will be partnering with us as a keynote speaker. Lisa is the President of Challenge Factory and the Centre for Career Innovation. She offers invaluable leadership and insights about the Future of Work—with a focus on how talent equity, demographics, freelance economy, and new market dynamics to gain strategic workforce and career advantage.

But wait, there’s more! The second day keynote speaker is Graham Donald, one of North America’s leading experts on attracting, recruiting, and engaging students and graduates. He founded Brainstorm Strategy Group Inc. in 2003 to focus on improving students’ school-to-work transition by advising and training both the employers that hire students and the educators who support their career development on campus.

ERC 2022 will also feature industry speakers, alumni and employer panel discussions, and presentations from RRC Polytech staff, covering the topics of labour market trends, cultural themes, workplace expectations, and job search best practices.

$10,000 BMO Diversity Scholarship – Now Accepting Applications

BMO Capital Markets has officially launched its Summer 2023 Diversity Scholarship Campaign!

They are looking for diverse students (Female, Black, LGBTQ+, Indigenous, Person of Colour, Students with Disabilities) with an interest in gaining experience in finance!

Applications are now open until April 29th, 2022.

  • 10 scholarships to giveaway (CAD $10,000/each)
