Canadian Security Intelligence Service – Opportunities for Fall 2023

Opportunities for Fall 2023 are available on Canada.ca/CSISjobs. Interested students have until September 30th to apply.

Due to the length of the recruitment and security clearance (Top Secret) process, students apply online one year prior to their planned work terms. Terms can be for 4,8, 12 or 16 months.

Although most positions are located in Ottawa, some are available elsewhere in Canada. Information on specific locations can be found on the postings.

Basic requirements:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen
  • Have 10 years of verifiable background information
  • Full-time status at a recognized academic institution and registered as students at the time of their placement

CIBC New Grad Career Programs – Information Session

Info Session for Commercial Banking Associate Program, Private Wealth Management Rotational Program & Financial Advice Campus Development Program (Prairies)

Are you in your final year of your undergrad and interested in launching your career in Commercial Banking, Private Wealth Management or Personal & Business Banking?

The Campus team at CIBC is hosting a virtual info session on three different new graduate programs that are offered in these areas of the bank on September 21st from 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM CDT, and would love to see you there!

Learn about the Commercial Banking Associate Program, Private Wealth Management Rotational Program and Financial Advice Campus Development Program directly from Hiring Managers and get the opportunity to network with the teams as they begin recruiting for their 2023 Associates!

  • The Financial Advice Campus Development Program is a 7-9 month long rotational program where associates will be provided the opportunity to gain experience in various roles via rotations in Community Banking Centres within Personal and Business Banking, determined based on business needs. After the rotations, associates will be supported in their accreditation journey towards their MFDA and receive additional education in CIBC’s systems and lending processes.
  • CIBC’s Commercial Banking Associate Program is a 12-18 month long structured and comprehensive training program designed to provide new graduates with an opportunity to join CIBC’s commercial banking team and provide support in client acquisition, relationship management, credit management as well as providing transactional support for client specific financing solutions. This is a development role where associates can learn the products, processes, networks and functions to enable and equip them to eventually progress to the Relationship Manager role.
  • The Private Wealth Management Rotational Program is a 12-month program where associates will develop and build the skills to effectively manage and grow a client portfolio by providing dedicated relationship management, complex financial services support, and exceptional client service. Associates will be supported in their learning journey by dedicated Private Wealth Management Leaders throughout four different rotations within Private Banking, Wood Gundy, Wealth Strategy and Solutions and Private Wealth Management Head Office based on business needs.

  • You must be a current post-secondary student or a recent grad (2021 or 2022).
  • This event is targeted toward undergraduates in their final year of studies pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline.
  • The event will be held virtually via MS Teams.
  • Event sign-ups will close on September 20th at 11:59 PM EST
