English as a Second Language
Our part-time English as a Second Language (ESL) classes offer a supportive and engaging environment where students build confidence and proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Through interactive lessons, advanced technology and rich online resources, learners strengthen vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar while developing practical communication skills.
Students will:
- Learn to communicate clearly and confidently in Canadian classrooms, workplaces and everyday life.
- Gain the tools needed to participate fully, express themselves clearly and thrive in their new community.

Prerequisites
Level 3 prerequisites: TOEFL iBT: 30 / IELTS Academic: 3.5 / Versant English Placement Test: 30 / CLB: 4 / Duolingo English Test: 55 and / or permission from Chair.
Level 4 prerequisites: TOEFL iBT: 40 / IELTS Academic: 4.5 / Versant English Placement Test: 40 / CLB: 5 / Duolingo English Test: 75 / Pearson Test of English (PTE) 37 and / or permission from Chair
