Give your head a shake! DisOrientation Week activities start Tuesday

Minute To Win It (2015); the Cave LoungeYou’re nervous, overwhelmed, possibly even panicked by the prospect of a new school year and related academic responsibilities.

Sound familiar? If so, you’re in good company. And thankfully, the Red River College Students’ Association has a full slate of DisOrientation Week activities scheduled to offset the chaos and confusion.

Starting Tuesday, you can work off some of that back-to-school stress at a series of parties and events aimed at reminding you that all work and no play … well, you know the rest.

Tue., Sept. 6

Minute to Win It!
12 – 1pm

Free for students. (Chance to win $500 cash!)

Paint Night: Pinot & Pastels
4 – 7pm

Free for students; painting supplies provided free on a first come, first served basis. Bring student and government ID. (18+)

Wed., Sept. 7

Comedian Chris Gordon (and free Hooters wings)

Free chicken wings for the first 100 people seated near the stage.

Movie Night: The Jungle Book (2016) @ The Cube
