“I will bring the leadership and experience gained as a player to the bench this year, and will continue to add to the tradition of excellence that RRC athletics has established,” said Power.

Hansen added, “I look forward to taking the next step in my volleyball career and with the Rebels program. I am excited to be able to give back to a great program that has given me so many great memories and experiences. Dylan and I want to create a competitive team that will build on the past success of the program.”

During Hansen’s time at RRC, he played and won four championships over five years. Hansen also played at the University of Winnipeg for a year and is a graduate of Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School, where he played under Jim Schreyer. Hansen is a recent graduate of RRC’s Civil Engineering Technology program, and is currently finishing a second diploma in Construction Management while working for the City Of Winnipeg.
