Pathway to Business, Creative Communications and Digital Technology Programs

Learn to excel across a range of business, communications and hospitality careers in an inclusive, supportive environment infused with Indigenous culture.

This pathway program is designed to provide admission to Indigenous Manitobans who have not had the opportunity to participate or succeed in post-secondary education due to social, economic or cultural factors; a lack of formal education; or limitations due to remote geographic location (inaccessibility to post-secondary institutions).

Pathway programs are preparatory and exploratory experiences that help ensure your academic, personal, social and financial readiness and provide the skills and support you need to confidently transition into specific RRC Polytech programs.

Through Pathway to Business, Creative Communications and Digital Technology Programs, you’ll jumpstart your journey into post-secondary education and prepare for a rewarding career in business, hospitality, communications, marketing, journalism, media production, digital media design and more. You’ll gain a network of career-focused supports while building the learning techniques, foundational knowledge and technical skills you need to progress with confidence. 

After completing this pathway program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for limited reserved seats in the following programs:

In this program, you will build foundational skills in communication, computer usage, math, project management, financial literacy and leadership. You will also explore your diverse career options through practical lab sessions and applied-learning projects.

Gain foundational knowledge and build the skills you need to succeed in post-secondary business, creative arts and digital technology programs.

TERM 2

Prepare to apply for your selected programs while advancing your knowledge and exploring specialized, program-related career paths.

TERM 3

Develop and present an applied-learning project focused on your program of choice.
