Red Dress Beading Workshops with Gerri Pangman – Sept. 25, 28, & 29
Bead a Red Dress pin to raise awareness of MMIWG2S ahead of October 4
Gerri Pangman will share a presentation about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+), speaking about how this issue has affected her family and community. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to create their own Red Dress pin as a visible symbol of support and awareness ahead of the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People on October 4.
Red Dress pin-making kits will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance.
