Drop in at the Indigenous Support Centres – Sept. 25
Welcome back!
A new academic year brings opportunities to connect, build community and discover the supports available throughout your journey at RRC Polytech.
On Friday, Sept. 25 from 10 am to 2 pm, Indigenous Student Supports is opening its doors across all three campuses for a special drop-in event. Whether you’re new to campus or returning for another year, it’s a chance to meet the team, learn about available services and connect with fellow students in a welcoming environment.
Visitors can enjoy refreshments, enter a draw to win an Orange Shirt and grocery gift cards, and get to know the support staff who are here to help students succeed academically, personally and culturally.
Friday, Sept. 25, 10 am – 2pm
- Notre Dame Campus: F205 and F209
- Exchange District Campus: P407, Roblin Building
- South Winnipeg Campus: Aazohogan 101.15, 130 Henlow Bay
Students visiting Aazohogan 101.15 can also take part in Red Dress Beading workshop with Gerri Pangman, a hands-on opportunity for reflection and raising awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S) ahead of Oct. 4, the National Day of Action for MMIWG2S.
Whether you’re looking for support, community, cultural connections or simply a place to stop by and say hello, the Indigenous Support Centres invite you to drop in and see what’s available.
