

Manitoba is composed of people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including different national or ethnic affiliations, language, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical and cognitive abilities, spiritual beliefs, marital/parental status.
The Academic Success Centre provides diversity training to students at RRC Polytech to support the development of their intercultural competence and enhance their understanding and respect for gender and sexual diversity.
Instructors can request workshops for their students throughout the year. A suite of intercultural workshops is available to assist students in developing the cultural awareness and skills needed to study and work successfully in today’s global environment.

These courses feature video lectures, testimonies, learning activities, and accompanying resources. These online materials can be made available to student cohorts, and they can contribute to supporting diversity and intercultural learning outcomes in academic programs and courses.
