The Manitoba LGBT* Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of EMERGE, a transformative new initiative designed to support 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs across the province.

Starting this September, EMERGE will offer a six-month cohort experience focused on building essential business skills, fostering mentorship, and creating a strong community of queer entrepreneurs. Participants will engage in:

• Skill-building workshops
• Networking events
• Group discussions
• One-on-one mentorship sessions

This program is free to join, and applications are now open for both participants and volunteer mentors. If you identify with 2SLGBTQIA+ and live or work in Manitoba, we encourage you to apply.

Join Manitoba Hydro at their Hands-On Day! There you will have the opportunity to try out trades and handle technology equipment. You will take part in a circuit of activities such as electrical wiring, mechanical exercises, hot stick handling, pole climbing, assembling LAN cables, a career presentation, and more. This is a terrific opportunity to meet with the hiring team and receive hands-on experience with trades and technology jobs!

The New Grad Rotational Program offers students the opportunity to complete four rotations over a two-year period with the opportunity to be placed full-time after completion. The participants will develop a strong understanding of the business’s big picture and how each department contributes to the success of the organization.

The position will be in our Winnipeg location, IG Wealth Management Office, and the Operations Stream will provide hands-on exposure to important projects, contributing real gains to the company.
