Venture for Canada’s new Intrapreneurship Program!

July 23, 2021

Venture for Canada is very excited to launch their newest program, in partnership with the Government of Canada, the Intrapreneurship Program.

The Intrapreneurship Program is an alternative way of gaining paid work experience. Students contribute to innovating a small business by working on a 7-week project.

Get your foot in the innovation door and get paid for it through a program designed to give students from underserved communities the ins-and-out of small and medium businesses by solving innovation challenges.

Eligibility:

  • Enrolled full-time at a Canadian post-secondary
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee
  • Residing in any Canadian province
  • Identify as a member of an underserved community, BIPOC, a newcomer to Canada, a person with disabilities, a woman studying in STEM fields, and/or a student living in a rural/non-urban community

Please note: International students are not eligible for the Intrapreneurship program. See Venture for Canada’s Fellowship Program instead.
