About the John Aisenstat Memorial Award

This award is given to students entering the second year of RRC Polytech’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Restaurant Management diploma programs with high academic standing, a genuine passion for the industry, and financial need. This RRC Polytech award was created by Hy’s Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar in memory of John Aisenstat, former Executive Vice President, who was known for his passion for the hospitality industry and his unfailing support of the staff who made Hy’s Steakhouse a success for more than 70 years.
