RRC Polytech alum Natalie Bell shares tips to spark creativity at CreativeMornings Winnipeg’s January event

January 24, 2022

More than a decade ago, CreativeMornings was launched out of a desire for ongoing, accessible events for creative communities to connect. Today, these communities gather in 223 cities across 67 countries — including right here in Winnipeg.

The Winnipeg chapter of CreativeMornings not only celebrates our city’s creative talent, but also promotes an open space to connect with like-minded individuals. From marketing legends to hometown heroes, speakers are selected by each chapter based on a global theme. This month’s theme is FREE: free to be your authentic self in life and at work; free to be with the content you share and the people you interact with; free to achieve your fullest creative potential.

Natalie Bell, RRC Polytech grad (aka @PegCityLovely – one of Winnipeg’s original influencers) is CreativeMornings Winnipeg’s speaker this Friday, January 28 from 8:15 – 9:45 a.m. CT. She’ll be chatting about how to shake off your online persona and will offer tips on how to get back to the creativity you are passionate about.

Bell graduated with a certificate in Human Resource Management in 2010 and has worked for a variety of organizations in both the public and private sector for both non-union and unionized workplaces across several industries over the past 20 years.

Speaking on the topic of FREE is the perfect fit for Bell – she fosters positive, authentic conversations via real-life storytelling on her social media networks as enthusiastic, hyperlocal content creator PegCityLovely. She is a social “real-talker” in the community, which certifies her as a sought-after moderator, panelist, and speaker (she was one of RRC Polytech’s alumni speakers at Convocation in November 2020!).

Bell is known for challenging the status quo and engaging all levels of an organization to help elevate its workplace culture. She most recently served as Director of Publicity for the Congress of Black Women of Manitoba and as Director of Membership for IABC Manitoba.

As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, Bell provides expertise in HR management including, but not limited to, employee engagement, coaching, leadership development, performance management, learning & development, and employee/labour relations.

You’ll hear more about Bell’s philosophy on authenticity and the freedom to create on Friday, January 28, as well as entertainment from Tyler Del Pino, plus you will have the chance to network with other brilliant minds from Winnipeg’s creative community. As always, CreativeMornings Winnipeg events are free to attend. You won’t want to miss it!

The motto of CreativeMornings is “everyone is creative, everyone is welcome” – a perfect fit for Friendly Manitoba. Register now to attend Bell’s virtual presentation on January 28.
