Reasonable Accommodations
The role of Exam Accommodations is to provide reasonable test/exam accommodation services to students who have a documented disabilities (temporary or permanent), enrolled in courses at Red River College Polytechnic.
What is a reasonable accommodation?
Reasonable means that no one suffers unduly. Not the student! Not the Instructor! Not the College!
What is most important?
It’s most important that academic standards are not compromised due to the types of accommodations. The student with a disability must still meet the essential requirements for the course or program.
RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
