South Winnipeg Campus Parking

Staff, students, contractors, guests, and visitors can access campus parking through monthly permits or daily parking options.

Parking Hours

Parking rates are in effect during the following hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7am to 12am
Friday: 7am to 5pm

Parking is complimentary after 5pm on Fridays, throughout the weekend and on holidays.

Monthly Parking Permits

Effective Fall 2026, all South Winnipeg Campus staff and students requiring monthly parking must first contact Commuting and Parking at parking@rrc.ca 

How to Request a Permit

Email parking@rrc.ca and include:

  1. Full name
  2. Student / Staff ID number
  3. Campus location: 
    • Henlow
    • Henlow Admin
    • Fultz
    • Pembina

Once eligibility has been verified, Commuting and Parking will provide the appropriate registration instructions for the requested parking lot. Permit availability is subject to parking lot capacity.

Registering with Impark

After receiving your registration details from Commuting and Parking, complete your parking registration through Impark.

Note: Monthly parking permits remain active until cancelled.

Managing Your Vehicles

A maximum of two license plates may be registered under one parking account. Only one registered vehicle may be parked on campus at a time. Additional vehicles can be added through your online Impark account. To remove a vehicle, please contact Impark Customer Service.

Important: Physical parking decals are not required as parking privileges are linked to your registered license plate.

Daily and Visitor Parking

Daily parking is available at all South Winnipeg Campus locations using HangTag online or through the mobile app. Daily parkers may park in any available pass holder parking stall at the location where they have purchased parking, unless the stall is signed as reserved, visitor, staff-only, or otherwise restricted.

How to Use HangTag

  1. Download the HangTag app
  2. Create an account
  3. Register your vehicle
  4. Select your parking location – 5379
  5. Pay the daily parking fee.

Contractor Parking

All contractors bringing a vehicle on campus are required to purchase parking. This includes, but is not limited to, all service and sales calls, meetings, and site tours. Any associated parking costs will be the responsibility of the contractor/technician.

Contractors may park in any available pass holder parking stall at the location where they have purchased parking, or in a signed, designated contractor parking area. Contractors may not park in stalls signed as reserved, visitor, staff-only, or otherwise restricted.

Accessible Parking

Vehicles displaying a valid accessible parking permit may park in any permitted parking area. Designated accessible parking spaces are reserved for vehicles displaying a valid accessible hangtag. Standard parking fees and registration requirements continue to apply unless otherwise authorized

Overnight Parking

Overnight parking is not permitted. For special circumstances, contact Commuting and Parking  at parking@rrc.ca  before leaving a vehicle on campus overnight.

Cancellations 

Permit holders are responsible for cancelling their own parking accounts through Impark. To cancel your monthly parking, Please complete and submit a cancellation request form via the Contact Us page. 

Cancellation requests are processed in the order received. Requests submitted by the 7th will be effective at the end of the current month. Requests submitted on or after the 8th will be effective 30 days from the submission date. A confirmation email will be sent once your request has been processed.

The safety of our campus community is everyone’s responsibility. If you observe suspicious activity in a parking lot or elsewhere on campus, contact Security Services immediately.

Not Liable For Injury, Loss or Damage

Any motor vehicle or bicycle, operated, used or parked at the South Winnipeg Campus, including any contents within such motor vehicle or bicycle, shall be solely at the risk of the owner or operator.

RRC Polytech and MITT and their respective boards, officers, employees, agents and subcontractors are not liable for:

  1. any injury to any person (including death) or for any damage to or loss of property (including damage to or loss of a motor vehicle or a bicycle or its contents) arising from the use, operation, parking or standing of any motor vehicle or bicycle at the South Winnipeg Campus;
  2. the use of an electrical outlet in a parking stall;
  3. the supply, lack of a supply, or fault in the supply of electricity to the parking stall, it being understood and acknowledged by all users of electrified parking stalls that such use shall be at their own risk;
  4. any inconvenience suffered as a result of temporary or permanent stall closure.
