Commuting and Parking

Bus

Winnipeg Transit

Winnipeg Transit is the #1 way our students get to and from campus. Most students are eligible for a reduction in a monthly bus pass. The RRC Polytech Students’ Association can help you find everything you need to know about the Post Secondary Peggo Card.

Plan your route

Winnipeg Transit’s Navigo Trip Planner will help you find the most convenient and quickest routes from A to B.

Cost out your ride

Winnipeg Transit has a variety of fare types. Remember, many RRC Polytech staff and students are eligible for reduced fares.

Park and Ride

There are many Park and Ride locations throughout the city. This service gives you the option of leaving your car and busing to work.

Commuting Between EDC and NDC

We’re often asked if there’s a shuttle between the Notre Dame Campus and the Exchange District Campus, to which we respond, “There is! It’s called Winnipeg Transit.” Transit Routes #19 and #26 provide a direct connection between our two main campuses. Travel times vary based on the time of day, but generally speaking it takes 25 minutes to commute between our campuses by bus.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
