A7 – Entrance Scholarships

1. Introduction

Red River College Polytechnics wishes to continue developing greater interest among high school students to enrol in College programs.

2. Policy

Red River College Polytechnic will provide entrance scholarships to qualifying Manitoba high school graduates by matching the contributions of sponsoring high schools.

3. Procedures

  1. The College’s entrance scholarships will provide up to one-half of the tuition fees up to a limit of $500 per recipient, for enrolment in a full-time RRC Polytech Diploma or Certificate program.
  2. Potential scholarship recipients will be selected annually by the respective high schools using criteria established jointly with RRC Polytech.
  3. An entrance scholarship award, which is not used during the year it is awarded, may be carried forward for another year.
  4. This policy will be reviewed annually by the College.

RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
