The Outlook for Android app will allow you to access your email, calendar, contacts, and OneDrive files from within the app.

NOTE: Outlook for Android requires a device running Android 4.0 or later. You cannot access tasks from the Outlook for Android app.
  1. Download the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store, if you haven’t installed it already.
  2. Once installed or if you have already installed it, open it.
  3. Tap Get Started.

  4. Enter your student email address following this format: fname@academic.rrc.ca, and tap Continue.

  5. On the Sign In page, your student email address will default in. Enter your password, and tap Sign in.

  6. You will be prompted to add another account, tap Maybe Later.

  7. Information about Outlook will appear, tap the arrow on the bottom right-hand side to read or tap Skip on the bottom left-hand side.

  8. Your inbox will open. You can open your calendar and contacts using the icons at the bottom of your screen. You can also tap the menu icon on the top left-hand side to see your email folders and the gear icon on the top right-hand side to enter your email settings.

Add an account

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Tap the gear on the top right-hand side.

  3. Tap Add an email account.

  4. Type in the email address, and tap Continue.

  5. Tap the account type of that particular email address. This example uses an Outlook email address.

  6. On the sign in page, the email address will default in, enter your password, and tap Sign in.

  7. Your newly added email address will be listed under Accounts.

Delete an account

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Tap the gear on the top right-hand side.

  3. Tap the account you want to delete.

  4. On the bottom of the Account info window, tap Delete Account.

  5. To confirm that you want to delete this account, at the bottom of the window, tap Delete.
