Connect to student email using Android mail app
The Android mail app allows you to access your email, calendar, contacts, and OneDrive files from within the app.
- Tap the Android mail app icon.
- Tap Exchange.
- Enter your College email address and password, and then tap Sign in.
- Read the IT policy on security settings, and if you consent, click Agree.
- Tap Activate to allow email to activate the device admin app.
Your inbox will open.
NOTE: If you are not redirected to the RRC Polytech log-on page, you can manually add your student mailbox to your device using these instructions.
- Enter your College email address.
- Enter the mail server as mail.academic.rrc.ca.
- Enter the domain as your email address, username@academic.rrc.ca.
- Enter your password.
- Enter a description, “school,” for example, if you like.
- Click Sign In.
Add an account
- Open email inbox.
- Tap the menu
icon on the top left-hand side.
- Tap the gear
icon at the top middle of the page.
- Tap + Add Account.
- Choose the email type (this example uses a Gmail address).
- Enter the email address, and tap Next.
- Enter your password, and tap Next.
- Tap Allow to allow Samsung Email to operate your Gmail.
Delete an account
- Open email inbox.
- Tap the menu icon on the top left-hand side.
- Tap the gear icon at the top middle of the page.
- Choose the email that you would like to delete.
- Tap Remove at the top right-hand side.
- Tap Remove in the Remove account window.
