Connect SharePoint calendar to Outlook calendar
You can manage your SharePoint calendar from within your Outlook calendar. Any updates or new information that you add to either SharePoint or Outlook will automatically sync between the two calendars.
Connect Calendars
- On the Calendar tab, click Connect to Outlook.
- Follow the instruction below according to the web browser you are using:
Windows Edge
On the Did you mean to switch apps window, click Yes to open Outlook 2016.
Google Chrome
On the Launch Application window, select Outlook 2016, and then click Open link to open Outlook 2016.
Mozilla Firefox
On the Microsoft Outlook window, click Yes to Open Outlook 2016.
- Open your Outlook Calendar, and then click Yes to connect your SharePoint calendar to your Outlook calendar. The SharePoint calendar will appear on the left‑hand pane under Other Calendars and will display in a side‑by‑side view next to your Outlook Calendar.
Delete your SharePoint calendar from your Outlook calendar
On your Outlook calendar, on the left‑hand pane, under Other Calendars, right‑click the SharePoint calendar that you would like to delete, and then click Delete Calendar.
