Find your wireless MAC address

MAC address stands for Media Access Control address. It is a hardware identification number that identifies each device on a network. The MAC address is located on every computer, mobile phone, tablet, and laptop, regardless of brand, make, or model.

Locate your wireless MAC address on your particular device when you click one of the following links:

• Windows
• Macintosh
• IOS
• Android

Windows

Windows 10 and 11

If you have Windows 11 or a recent version of Windows 10, follow these instructions:

1. Right‑click the Windows Start button on the bottom left‑hand side of the taskbar.
2. Click Network Connections.
3. In Backstage view, scroll down to and click Advanced network settings, and then click Hardware and connection properties.
4. You can find your MAC address on the right-hand side Properties menu, scroll down to the Name: Wi-Fi heading, and then locate the Physical address (MAC).

Macintosh

1. Select Apple > System Preferences > Network > Advanced.
2. When the network box displays, select Wi‑fi.
3. You can find your MAC address under Wi‑Fi Address or Airport Address.

IOS

1. Select Settings > General > About.
2. You can find your MAC address under Wi‑Fi Address.

Android

1. Select Settings > About Phone > Status Information..
2. You can find your MAC address under Wi‑Fi Address, and then click either Wi‑Fi MAC Address, or Phone Wi-Fi MAC address.
