Based on competencies and learning outcomes defined by corporate and academic members of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), our BTM program is designed to provide graduates with a solid foundation in information and communication technology. This professional diploma program provides you with the skills to become a business professional capable of implementing information and communication technologies. This combination of skills is essential for improving productivity, fostering innovation and building competitive advantages in the information technology industry.
As a BTM student, explore a range of interrelated domains including network management, database management, web development, object-oriented programming, business analysis, project management, economics, accounting, communications, business process development, business law, management and organizational behaviour.

This program is accredited by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). Members of the Business Technology Management Accreditation Council (BTMAC) of ITAC will visit Red River College before the renewal date of the accreditation to review the program and its curriculum.

As part of this program’s work experience term, students may have the opportunity to complete an industry project at the ACE Project Space, a collaborative space where education and innovation collide. Students get the chance to work on projects with real companies and clients to bring unique ideas to life.
